Pro-Israel America Announces Endorsement of Five New Candidates

Pro-Israel America Executive Director Jeff Mendelsohn issued the following statement:

“Pro-Israel America is proud to endorse Representatives Carter, Davis, Golden, Upton, and Wittman for their re-election campaigns and Marilyn Strickland as she runs in the open Washington 10^th district seat.  These candidates join a growing list of both Democratic and Republican Pro-Israel champions who we have endorsed for elections in November. Each of these races will be very competitive, and Pro-Israel America’s grassroots members will work to support these candidates.

“From speaking out against BDS to supporting legislation that enhances U.S.-Israel security cooperation, Representative Carter has been an invaluable supporter of the U.S.-Israel relationship throughout his nine terms in Congress.

“Congressman Davis has been an important voice in standing up for our ally, Israel. He has actively pushed back against efforts by the United Nations that aimed to embarrass Israel on the international stage.”

“In his first term in Congress, Representative Golden has proven to be a supporter of our most important strategic ally in the Middle East, Israel, working to oppose efforts that question the legitimacy of Israel.”

“We are excited to support Marilyn Strickland, the former Mayor of Tacoma, as she runs for the open Washington 10^th congressional district seat in November.”

“We are proud to support Representative Upton in his competitive upcoming election in November. Rep. Upton has served in Congress for over 20 years, cosponsoring and advocating for numerous pieces of legislation that advance the U.S.-Israel Relationship, including through strengthening our economic partnership.”

“Since taking office in 2007, Congressman Wittman has been a staunch supporter of the U.S.-Israel relationship. Through his work on the House Armed Services Committee, he has sought to continually strengthen security cooperation between our two nations.”
