Congressman Carlos Gimenez represents Florida’s 28th District in the United States House of Representatives, a position he has held since 2020. He previously served as the mayor of Miami-Dade county from 2011-2020. He serves on the House Committee on Homeland Security as well as the House Committee on Armed Services. Gimenez has been highly supportive of Israel, backing legislation to prevent Iran from acquiring UAVs and encouraging sanctions and firm diplomatic action to address Iranian aggression. He also cosponsored legislation in favor of expanding the Abraham Accords and opposed adding new conditions on aid to Israel.
