July 19, 2021 (Washington, DC) — Today, PIA Action Fund, an independent expenditure committee that supports candidates for Congress who will advance a strong U.S.-Israel alliance, released today its OH-11 Special Election 2021 Primary Guide.
Jeff Mendelsohn, executive director of Pro-Israel America, issued the following statement:
“With the OH-11 special election on August 3 only two weeks away, now is a critical moment to educate voters on the various candidates running in this solidly blue district’s Democratic primary.
The primary guide makes clear the need for leaders in Congress who value and commit to advancing the relationship between the United States and our greatest democratic ally in the Middle East, Israel – and that candidate in the Ohio 11th district race is Shontel Brown. Brown supports continued U.S. security assistance to Israel and Israel’s right to defend itself, applauds the Abraham Accords, opposes and condemns the dangerous BDS movement, and sees Israel as a strong valuable strategic partner.”
The choice could not be clearer for supporters of a strong U.S.-Israel relationship to vote for Shontel Brown, and we look forward to helping her cross the victory line on August 3.”
