JULY 25, 2022, WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Pro-Israel America (PIA) announced its endorsement of state senator Adam Hollier, who is running in the newly redrawn open MI-13 congressional district.
“Pro-Israel America is endorsing Adam Hollier because he is a strong, pro-Israel candidate who understands that the road to advancing peace and prosperity in the Middle East runs through unwavering, bipartisan support for a strong U.S.-Israel relationship in Congress,” said PIA executive director Jeff Mendelsohn. “Amid a crowded field of Democrats in this open-seat primary – including a vocally anti-Israel opponent – Hollier will help maintain a strong pro-Israel majority in the 118th Congress.”
A member of the Michigan State Senate since 2018 representing District 2, Hollier believes that Israel should be able to defend itself, by itself, like any other nation. He opposes BDS, as well as all other movements that seek to isolate and demonize Israel, and he plans to help build upon the successful Abraham Accords advancing peace between Israel and its neighbors.
Hollier joins Pro-Israel America’s growing list of nearly 80 endorsed candidates this election cycle. Pro-Israel America’s 170,000+ grassroots membership base proved during the 2020 election cycle that support for the U.S.-Israel relationship continues to run deep in both parties and makes for good politics and good policy. Pro-Israel America helped elect 70 pro-Israel members of Congress in 2020 including 39 Democrats and 31 Republicans, and in 2021 was one of the first organizations to endorse and support pro-Israel Democrat Shontel Brown, who came from behind to win the OH-11 primary and election. In total, Pro-Israel America has raised over $6 million for pro-Israel candidates.
