Today marks a somber six-month milestone since the capture of over two hundred hostages, with an estimated 134 remaining in Gaza. Among those are at least six American hostages. On this six-month mark we spotlight six of our fellow Americans in who MUST RETURN HOME and who need our thoughts, prayers, and advocacy:
Edan Alexander – Grew up in NJ, volunteered in the IDF’s Golani Brigade.
Itay Chen – Israeli-American, serving in an IDF tank unit.
Omer Neutra – Grew up on Long Island, served as an IDF tank commander.
Sagui Dekel-Chen – Israeli-American, was taken hostage with his wife, who has since been released and given birth to their child.
Hersh Goldberg-Polin – Born in Berkeley, was taken from the Nova festival.
Keith Samuel Siegel – From North Carolina, was taken from his home in Kfar Aza with his wife, Aviva, who has since been released.
Each story underscores the urgency and necessity of their safe return. As we continue to hope and advocate for their release, their families’ strength and resilience in the face of unimaginable hardship inspire us all. We must stand in solidarity and echo the call for their immediate freedom and safe return home. It has been six months too long. #bringthemhome
