Congressman Harold (Hal) Rogers has served Kentucky’s Fifth Congressional District since 1981. As the longest-serving active Representative, Rep. Rogers has held positions such as Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee from 2011 to 2016 and continues to sit on the committee. As a consistent friend to Israel, Rep. Rogers has supported legislation preventing Iran from obtaining unmanned drones and has signed a letter advising the use of sanctions and diplomacy to address the regime’s belligerent behavior. Rep. Rogers also cosponsored the Israel Supplemental Appropriations Act of November 2023.
