Congressman Jimmy Gomez represents California’s 34th District, including Los Angeles areas of Downtown, Boyle Heights, Chinatown, Highland Park, Koreatown, Little Tokyo, Lincoln Heights, Pico Union, and Westlake. In the 118th Congress, he serves as an Assistant Whip of the Democratic Caucus and Deputy Whip for the Congressional Progressive Caucus. Prior to being elected to Congress in 2017, Rep. Gomez was a member of the California State Assembly. In addition to his commitment to equality, the environment, public health, and education, throughout his tenure in Congress, Rep. Gomez has been a friend to the pro-Israel community.
