Jake was born and raised in the Massachusetts Fourth District he now represents. The son of a surgeon & a scientist who taught him the values of curiosity and integrity, he and his older brother and sister grew up in the Jewish faith and attended Newton Public Schools. Auchincloss believes that support for Israel has and should always be an essential part of the Democratic party's platform.
