Congressman Joe Wilson has represented South Carolina’s Second Congressional District since 2001. Rep. Wilson previously served in the US Armed Forces for 31 years, retiring as a Colonel, and as a member of the South Carolina State Senate. Rep. Wilson is a senior member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and Chair of the Subcommittee on the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia. He is also the most senior member of the House Armed Services Committee.
