February 2, 2024, WASHINGTON, DC – Today Pro-Israel America (PIA) announced two endorsements of candidates who are committed to strengthening the US-Israel relationship and combatting antisemitism.
The two endorsements are:
- Former Rep. Gil Cisneros (D-CA-31)
- Joanna Weiss (D-CA-47)
“Pro-Israel America is proud to endorse Former Rep. Cisneros. Cisneros has consistently been a strong supporter of the US-Israel relationship both in Congress and as Under Secretary of Defense, where he led critical security partnerships and advanced peace deals between Israel and its neighbors,” said Pro-Israel America Executive Director Samantha Garelick.
“Pro-Israel America is endorsing Joanna Weiss because she is committed to defending America’s strategic alliance with Israel and has proven her resolve to fight and address antisemitism in all its forms,” said Pro-Israel America Executive Director Samantha Garelick.
Since re-launching in January 2024, PIA has now endorsed 24 candidates, including 13 Democrats and 11 Republicans. A full list of endorsements can be viewed at https://proisraelamerica.org/candidates/.
