In response to the UN Security Council passing a biased ceasefire resolution on March 26, Pro-Israel America’s Executive Director made the following statement:
Pro-Israel America is disappointed by the UN Security Council resolution which fails to state that Hamas started this war and continues to violate international law by holding 130 hostages who are likely being tortured and sexually abused. We support and work toward lasting peace in the region, but today’s resolution coming out of the UN will only embolden Hamas’ terrorist destruction. Hamas has rejected several attempts at ceasefire and has shown callous disregard for the safety and wellbeing of Palestinian and Israeli civilians. Hamas has clearly stated that its goal is the destruction of the Jewish people and the state of Israel. International institutions have done nothing to condemn these hateful aspirations. Pro-Israel America continues to urge leaders everywhere to stand up for the US-Israel relationship and support our ally.
