In response to the release of the 2023 ADL Antisemitism report, Pro-Israel America’s Executive Director Samantha Garelick made the following statement:
“We cannot allow a culture of hatred to take root. A 140% increase in reported antisemitic incidents of assault, vandalism, and harassment is unacceptable. Leadership matters in the fight against antisemitism. We have seen throughout this time that when leaders take action, there is a significant difference in the prevalence of antisemitism compared to when they stay quiet. We call on leaders in government, higher education, and civil society to confront this crisis head-on, as they have the power to make a difference in combating antisemitism.”
